DAY 1: pick up and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park
DAY 2: gorilla trekking in Bwindi and Batwa pygmy cultural experience

DAY 1: PICK UP AND TRANSFER TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST NATIONAL PARK
On this day, you will be picked up by our driver guide from your pick up point in Kampala or Entebbe and embark on a road trip to western Uganda, aiming the Gorilla land of Bwindi Impenetrable forest National park. This is a long day drive of approximately 10 hours with lunch stop over en route. Though long, the drive takes you through different features to include tropical rain forests, savannah fields and the terraced hills of Kigezi famously known as the Switzerland of East Africa. Drive to the lodge for relaxation as you wait for the next day’s adventure with dinner and overnight at Gorilla Mist Camp
DAY 2: GORILLA TREKKING IN BWINDI AND BATWA PYGMY CULTURAL EXPERIENCE
Early morning breakfast and proceed to the briefing point. Enjoy the highlight of your trip – Gorilla trekking, which may last from 2 to 6 hours depending on the group you are visiting. We trek through the rainforest and bamboo covered slopes, accompanied by a Uganda Wildlife Authority guide and other trackers, in search of a mountain gorilla family.
The walking can sometimes be tough and long, but when you catch a glimpse of the magnificent silverback, any discomforts will be quickly forgotten. Due to the nature of the activity, you will have packed lunch. After Gorilla trekking, you have the Batwa pygmy cultural expereince who are the original tribes that used to stay with Gorillas in Bwindi. Dinner and overnight at will be at Gorilla Mist Camp
DAY 3: TOUR TO IGONGO ANKOLE MUSEUM, EQUATOR LINE AND TRANSFER TO ENTEBBE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
After breakfast you will drive to western Uganda’s biggest Museum called Igongo where you will learn more about the political, cultural and economic history of the Ankole culture. You will have lunch here and later transfer to the famous Equator line stop over at Kayabwe, to have a feel of standing at Latitude Zero degrees!
At the Equator stopover, there are lots of crafts and souvenir shops where you can do the shopping from and have lunch. You will later transfer to Entebbe to be dropped at the airport.
